Snow is here

The kids have had so much fun playing in the snow. They have helped Brent shovel the driveway and walkways. They are going to build a snowman for family home evening tomorrow, that should be fun to watch. I will let Brent go outside with them and help. Miranda and I will stay inside where it is warm and watch. I might just make some hot chocolate for when they come back inside. I must say that I do love the winter, I just don't like being out in the cold that much. Jace is excited to go sledding and maybe even learn how to ski down some little bunny hills. Brent is going to rent some ski's and take him. He has no fear so I think he will do pretty good.

New House!

Well I haven't been on in a long time. I forgot my password to get on and so I haven't written anything new in a long time. We moved into our new house in Farmington at the beginning of September. We love it here! The kids have made lots of friends and so have we. We are now on a street that isn't busy and full of cars. The kids love ridding bikes and running around outside I think they will be going crazy a little this winter being in the house most of the time. We have lots of space in the new house and our own bathroom. Its great. Jace is loving being in Kindergarten. He feels like a big kid now. Bryan wants to go with him and doesn't like being left behind. I promise to be better and get on the computer more often. That is about all that is going on with our family right now.

Dobby the 2nd

Well we tried everything we could to get the poor dog better. He had a hard time getting rid of the mites and getting the allergies under control. He was on meds for both but it wasn't getting any better. I took him to the vet before our trip and he told me that it wasn't going to change and the best thing for him was to put him to sleep. He was very uncomfortable and he didn't look very good. So we took him home for a couple of hours so we could play with him and give him some attention. Then Brent and I took him back to the vets and took the kids to Grandma's house. We held him and said goodbye while he gave him a sedative. It was very hard for me and I cried a lot. I will miss him but I know that we tried everything we could to get him healthy in the two years we had him. I think we will be taking a break from dogs. We don't do very good with them, we have had two dogs in three years.

Kids

We are now settled into Brent's parents house and loving it. The kids don't really get that we can't go back to our house. I think when they really get it we are going to have a couple of break downs. Miranda is pretty funny, she has started sucking her thumb. I don't know why but it always finds its way to her mouth. She won't take a pacifier but she likes her thumb. If it makes her happy then I won't complain. Jace and Bryan are starting a new phase. They like to bug each other and make the other person cry. Sometimes I catch them and they just laugh because they think it is funny. They are still buds and like playing together. We will be living with Grandma and Grandpa for at least a month, possibly three. We have found a house but we don't know exactly what is going on with it. We are waiting for the contract so we can sign it. When we get it then we will celebrate.

House Sold!!!

We sold our house. We got about what we wanted for it. We are excited for the change of being in a different area and a new house. This house has been a great first house and we will miss it. We have to move out by the end of the month. We are packing as fast as we can. It is crazy, you don't realize how much stuff you have until you have to pack it all up. We have decided that we are going to move into Brent's parents house while we wait and figure out where we are going to live. We have two different house we really like. One hasn't figured out if they want to sell of just stay where they are at. The other has a lot of things we like. They are both in Farmington so we will be a little farther away from Grandmas and Grandpas. But I am sure that won't stop anyone from driving back and forth.

Miranda's Blessing

We sure had a full house a couple of weeks ago. We blessed Miranda and then had family and friends over to the house. It was a great day and she looked beautiful. Brent did a great job, Bryan even went up to help. When the blessing started we looked for Bryan and couldn't find him. I guess he followed Brent up to the circle and stood by him the whole time. He didn't make any noise and neither did Miranda. After when we went back to our house it got a little crazy. We don't have a very big house and we had about fifty people. It is crazy how much preparation you put into that day and then when its all over you wonder why it took so long to set up and get ready for it. But it is worth it and we sure enjoyed being with family.

House for sale

We decided that it is time to get off of center street and get into a new house that isn't by a busy street. We would also like to get Jace into a school where he can make friends that he will grow up with. Our house has been a great house, it will be sad to leave it. We have been staying up at Brent's parents house while we have our house up for sale. It worked out well because they needed someone to take care of the dog while they are in Germany. So I volunteered to stay at there house so my house didn't get destroyed by Bryan. He gets into everything! The house has only been on the market for a week now but we have had a couple of people look at it. We will see what happens in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully we can sell and buy pretty quickly.

Miranda

She is finally here. We were suppose to go to the hospital on the 30th of December and get induced unless she decided to come sooner. On the 29th I woke up in the middle of the night having labor pains. She decided she wanted to come early. We got to the hospital at 4:20 am. My dad came down to my house to stay with the boys. This is the first time I have gone into labor on my own and I have to say it hurts pretty bad. I had an epidural as soon as they let me. After about five hours I was ready to have the baby. It went very fast. She was born at 9:40 am. When she first came out she looked a little scary. She wasn't breathing very well and wasn't moving. She was also pretty purple. They had everything in the room so the Doctor cut the cord and handed her over to the nurses. They suctioned her out and gave her some oxygen and she started pinking up. It scared Brent, I couldn't even see her so I didn't really know what was going on. My parents came just after they got her looking good. It is probably a good thing because I think it would have scared my mom to death to see her looking like that. After that we went to our recovery room and hung out. I have to say that the more kids I have the easier it is to recover. We are both doing great and enjoying being home. She was 6 pounds 15 ounces, my biggest baby so far, and 21 inches.

Our new house

Here are some pics of the new house. We have not taken any pictures of the inside yet. But this is what the outside looks like, pretty nice hu. We are loving it here and getting to know so many great people.

Kindergarten

They had a flag raising at school for Jace at his elementry school. They welcomed all the kids and raised the flag. Then they had the kids get in line behind their teacher and go into their classes. He was so excited he could hardly stand it.
