Everything is going pretty good for us in our family right now. Brent is really loving working at L3. He is doing really well and gets nothing but compliments from his co-workers. I can't tell him how proud I am of him.
The kids are doing well too. Jace is loving first grade and he is doing well with his reading and math. He has seen some of his old friends from kindergarten and made lots of new friends too. He is pretty social and it never has been a problem for him making friends. Bryan is having a great time in preschool. He loves going to school like his big brother. He rides his bike across the street to his school. They went on a field trip last week to the fire station and got to walk around. They went to the park after and had a snack with their teacher. He had a hard time with soccer this fall. I thought he would love it since he always had to watch Jace and didn't get to play. He kept telling Brent and I that he wanted to go home. I think he might like it better next season. Miranda is doing awesome. She is walking everywhere and getting into everything. She is starting to talk some, although you can't understand what she is saying she is trying. She is all girl and very dramatic. She has full fit tantrums and falls on the ground. If you look at her wrong or say something she doesn't like then she will start crying. She hates having her hair done. She still loves mom and doesn't want me to go too far away. She is a lot of fun and I am glad she is in our family.
I am still doing the same thing as I always do. Taking care of kids and scrap booking when I can. I have had a great time canning this season. I have done lots of different vegis and lots of soup. I also did some grape juice thanks to my neighbor. I spent a couple of days doing the grape juice and got about twenty quarts. I love being home and spending time with my family. I just got the news today that my Aunt Marilyn passed away. That is my dads sister and she will be missed. I am a little worried to see how Jace is going to do with her passing. He was very close to Marilyn. Even if he didn't see her very much he was always excited to see her and loved being next to her. He will miss her a lot. We have told him but I don't think he understands what happened.

Carving Pumpkins
The kids had a great time carving their pumpkins tonight. They each got to pick what they wanted to carve and Brent and I helped them out. Miranda of course needed some help since she is only twenty They were very interested in how they would turnout and wanted to help. They can't wait to go trick or treating tomorrow night. It should be great especially with the nice weather that we are suppose to have. The Jack Sparrow was all Brent and he did a great job.

Starting school
Jace and Bryan both started school and are loving it. Jace is in first grade and Bryan is in preschool. It is great and they have made lots of new friends. It is fun to see them come home and tell me all about their day. They love their teachers.

stitches
We had our first experience with our kids getting really hurt and going to Kids Care at about seven o'clock at night. Brent was outside with the boys and I was inside with Miranda when Brent came in holding Bryan saying we needed to go to the hospital now. He was holding on to his can of blue chips (salt and vinegar pringles) when he tripped with his flip flops on and his forehead hit the curb. We got him into the Bountiful kids care and waited for him to go back. I took the boys up to my mother in laws and then came back to be with Brent and Bryan. They had three other kids that had all come in with lacerations and they took Bryan back last. He did really well. I was proud of him. I had a hard time watching him, it was my little boy in pain and I didn't like it. After we went up to get the kids and then to my parents house where they got spoiled. They had ice cream and cereal and felt much better. Jace was very concerned about his brother and was glad to see he was okay. When Bryan fell all of the neighbor kids were outside and saw it happen. They were all worried about him. A couple of the girls came over the next day to bring him some magnets they had made him. I must say that I am surprised that it took this long for stitches since the kids are Brent's. Now I am just waiting to see how long it will be before we have a broken bone.

Recovery
This has definitely been a hard recovery. I am still not feeling all that good but I have been lucky and had lots of help from friends and family. I am so lucky to have them around and always so willing to help. I don't know what I would do without them. I am hoping that I start to feel better soon since Jace's birthday is this week. He will be six and I can hardly believe how quickly time goes.

Disney Cruise
The Disney Cruise was awesome! I don't know if we will ever go on another cruise line. It was great because everyone was there from my family this time. Bryan and Ashton really got into the characters on the ship. Bryan took pictures with everyone he saw. Even some of the princesses. It was so fun watching the kids. We liked it so much that we booked another one for next year on the Wonder. This one goes to Mexico. The weather was a little colder then last time but it was still nice when we went on our excursions. Jace loved playing at the oceaners club. Bryan had fun but didn't want to be there by himself. Bryan had a blast swimming in the mickey pool. Last time he wasn't potty trained so he could only go in the splash area. They even did pretty good at dinner. They ate pretty fast and then wanted to go and play. This time they had two cell phones in each room so we could talk to each other on the ship. Also the club could send us and text and let us know what was going on with the kids.
Tonsilectomy
I went to a doctor and found out that on top of the TMJ I will need to have my tonsils out next month. I don't really know what to expect. Everyone keeps telling me that it is horrible when you are older and that it will take a month before I feel like myself again. Brent is going to take Wednesday the second of March off, that is when my surgery is. He will be off for Thursday too and help me for the weekend. It will be great having him here to take care of me and help. It will also make Miranda a little less dependant on me. The only up side I have heard is that I won't be able to eat much so I will probably loss some weight. I won't lie I am not the most disciplined in this area and need all the help I can get. So hopefully I can lose the weight I should have before this next Disney cruise. It is a year away so if I don't then I have some real problems. We will see how it all goes.
Physical Therapy
Well Miranda is in physical therapy now. We didn't know what was going on but she wasn't doing the things that a normal one year old would do. We went to her appointment and talked to the doctor. She has been doing really well. She decided to start crawling a couple of weeks ago and now is working on pull to stand. They don't think there is anything wrong, she just wasn't in a hurry to crawl or anything else. So we will keep going until we get her walking. She is lots of fun but has definitely been a hard baby. I have held her and babied her more then the boys. Hopefully we will be going for a little while longer and she will catch right up.

Our new house
Here are some pics of the new house. We have not taken any pictures of the inside yet. But this is what the outside looks like, pretty nice hu. We are loving it here and getting to know so many great people.
Kindergarten
They had a flag raising at school for Jace at his elementry school. They welcomed all the kids and raised the flag. Then they had the kids get in line behind their teacher and go into their classes. He was so excited he could hardly stand it.
